We are absolutely blown away by the support shown at our fundraising event yesterday and are incredibly proud to share that, together, we raised an amazing £1191 after expenses and badges towards our Switzerland 2027 expedition fund! 🎉

From craft stalls and table-top activities to the mega raffle, tombola, bingo and quiz, there was something happening throughout the day. The chance to sponge-soak a leader, Young Leader — or even a willing family member! 🤣 — in the stocks also proved extremely popular!

A huge thank you goes to our brilliant leadership team, to Will for the fantastic DJ skills and help with the bunting, to our kitchen heroes who kept everyone fed throughout the day, and to the 12 amazing Scouts who gave up their time to help run activities and support the event. We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who stayed behind to help with the huge pack-away effort at the end of the day.

Special thanks must go to Louise and Laura for leading the raffle ticket efforts — your hard work made a massive difference. 🍋

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who attended, donated, bought raffle tickets, played games and supported the event in any way. Every penny raised helps move us one step closer towards our ambitious goal of taking the group to Switzerland in April 2027.

We are incredibly grateful for the support from our wonderful community. What a fantastic day all round — thank you, Lemington! 💜
