Adult volunteers are at the heart of 1st Lemington Scouts, helping deliver activities, camps, events and opportunities for young people across the group. Whether supporting weekly meetings, fundraising, administration or behind the scenes organisation, volunteers play a vital role in helping young people gain Skills for Life through Scouting.

Waiting Lists
1st Lemington Scouts continues to grow and we are incredibly grateful for the support and interest from families across the local community. As a result, some sections currently operate waiting lists depending on section numbers and volunteer capacity.
We always aim to offer places to as many young people as possible; however, registering interest does not guarantee an immediate place. A member of the leadership team will contact families to discuss current availability and the next steps.
As a volunteer-led organisation, the number of places we can offer is closely linked to the number of adults able to support the group. Parents and carers who are interested in volunteering — whether regularly, occasionally or behind the scenes — can play an important role in helping us expand opportunities for more young people within the community.
No previous Scouting experience is required and full support and training is provided for all volunteers.
